The areas under forest are declining day by day due to increase in population and cutting down of trees on a large scale for paper, rubber and other forest products.

Nowadays the forest areas are  also declining day by day due to increase in population at the same time cutting down of trees on a large scale for paper, rubber even it can be utilized for making other forest products. increase population  is one of the main reason for the decline of forest cover in recent years  because increasing population needs more and more need of land for human activities.
