AREA of parallegram =338
let the altitude and the base be xand x .but,altitude is twice of base ,altitude =2x

now,
         area of parallelogram = base × altitude
                                   338   =  x × 2x 
                                    338  = 2 x sq.
                                    338 ÷ 2 = x sq.
                                    169 = x sq.
                                 sqrt{169}  = x
                                   sqrt{ 13*13}  = x
                                        x =13
now, 
        base = x= 13m
        altitude = 2x =2×13= 26m
