Step-by-step explanation:

Area of rectangle = L×B

96 = L×8

L = 96/8

Length of rectangle = 12cm

Perimeter of rectangle = 2×(l+b)

= 2× (12+8)

= 2×20

Perimeter of rectangle =40 cm

Length = 12cm & Perimeter = 40cm

Given ,

  • Area of rectangle = 96 cm²
  • Breadth = 8cm

We need to find ,

  • Length & perimeter = ?

As we know that ,

  • Area = length × breadth

So ,

→ 96 = length × 8

→ 96/8 = length

Length = 12cm

Now , perimeter = 2 ( l + b )

=> Perimeter = 2 ( 12 + 8 )

=> Perimeter = 2 ( 20 )

=> Perimeter = 40cm
