area of square is equal to area of rectangle
set the sides of square be X
according to condition
length of a rectangle =x+12
breadth of a rectangle= x-8
x^2=(x+12)- (x-8)
x^2=x^2- 4x-96
96=4x
x=24

slength of a rectangle is equal to 36
date of a rectangle is equal to 16
perimeter of rectangle
=2(l+b)
=2*36+16
=2*52
=104
