The areas of two similar triangle are 81 cm square and 144 cm square if the largest side of the smaller triangle is 27cm find the largest side of largest triangle

ratio of sides = square root of ratio of areas
ratio of side = √81:√144
ratio of side = 9:12
small triangle side = 9x
big triangle side = 12x
given, largest side of small triangle = 27 =9x
therefore x=3
so largest side of large triangle = 12x = 12×3 =36
therefore the largest side of large triangle is 36cm
