Given :-

  • The areas of two similar triangles are 25cm^2 and 36^2
  • median of the smaller triangle is 10cm,

To Find:-

  • median of the larger triangle

Solution :-

  • Therefore ratio of their areas =square of ratios of corresponding median

  • (  \sqrt{ \frac{25}{36} } ) =  \frac{10}{x}
  •  \frac{10}{x}  =  \frac{5}{6}
  • x = 12

Final Answer is 12cm
