Solution :-
Given : The areas of two similar triangles are respectively 9 cm² and 16 cm².
Suppose that ar(△ABC) = 9 cm²
ar(△PQR) = 16 cm²
To find : Ratio of their corresponding sides i.e., BC and QR
ar(△ABC)/ar(△PQR) = BC²/QR² [By theorem]
=> 9/16 = BC²/QR²
=> 3²/4² = BC²/QR²
=> 3/4 = BC/QR
Hence,
Ratio of their corresponding sides = 3 : 4

Answer:
To find squares painting sides of ratio example BC and QR .
Area ( And ) / At ( PQR) = bc^ 2 / QR ^2
9/16 = BC^2 / QR ^ 2
3^2/4^2 = Bc^2 / QR ^2
3/4 = BC /QR
So , BC / QR = 3:4.
So Answer is 3:4 .
✓It is in short method.
Thanks .
