Let the Arithmetic mean be ‘A’, first term be ‘a’ and second term be ‘b’.

Now the AP becomes a,A,b

Given that Arithmetic mean is 52 and one of the term is 33. Let ‘a’ be 33.

We Know the formula,

A = \frac{a+b}{2}

Applying the value of A and a we get,

52 =  \frac{33 + b}{2}

104 = 33 + b

b = 104 - 33 = 71

Therefore the other term is 71.
