The Artificial intelligence is used for many benefits, but the end of it is known total destruction of the human race, do we have the right to ban it?

I believe this particular question is being asked based on ideas gotten from Sci-Fi movies, however, it is wise not to readily equate such ideas with reality. As it stands now, the development of AI, while admittedly has been considerable, is still in its early stages and such, its threat to the human race has not ascertained. Moreover, I honestly doubt that any developer would allow it to get to that, so I can categorically say it is safe to calm your nerves.
