Answer:

Given, length of hall, 1= 45 m Breadth of hall, b= 30 m And height of hall, h= 16 m Then, area of four walls of the hall = 2(1+ b) × h = 2(45+ 30) × 16 = 2 x 75 x 16 %3D %3| = 2400 m? Dimensions of each door is 4 m by 3.5 m. Therefore, area of five doors = 5 x (4 x 3.5) = 70 m? Also, dimension of each window is 2.5 m by 1.6 m. Therefore, area of four windows = 4 x (2.5 x 1.6) 16 m2 Thus, area to be papered = Area of four walls -(Area of five doors + Area of four windows) = 2400 – (70 + 16) = 2400 – 86 = 2314 m2 Now, cost of papering 1 m2 = Rs. 35 So, cost of painting 2314 m2 = Rs. (35 x 2314) = Rs. 80990
