It means the pressure on hill is same as that of pressure created by 68 cm of mercury coloumn to the base and in the region where g = 9.8m/s^2

P = hρg
ρ = Density or mercury

Answer:

Pressure at the surface is 76cm of mercury , Also as we up on a hill pressure decrease ,hence pressure will be less than 76cm of mercury.

So the possible answer is 70cm of mercury.
