the atomic mass of Al and Cl is 13 and 17.What will be no. of electrons in Al3+ and Cl-

HarishAS: I think it is their atomic number. not mass.
sourav138: 10 and 18
Komal002: yes it is correct but how
sonamsharan7602: yes that is atomic number

Atomic Number of Al - 13 ( no. of electrons)
                              Cl-17

in Al 3+ they loose 3 electrons so. the number of electrons = 13-3 =10 electrons

In Cl- they gain one eletron. so the number of electrons = 17 +1=18 electrons.

HarishAS: I hope my answer is clear
sonamsharan7602: yes u deserves to be brainliest
HarishAS: Thx
