The atomic no. 35 we will do the E.C that is electronic confugration 1s² , 2s² , 2p6 , 3s², 3p6 , 3d10 ,4s² , 4p5 now from here we came to know that it is p - block element and now if we see the outer most shell then the valence electrons will come out to be 7 and we will add 10 to it because it is p - block element so it is in 4th period( by seeing the last shell) 17 group in p- block.
