the atomic number of an element is more important to the chemist than its relative atomic mass.why?​

Relative atomic mass of atom is so useful as it does not give the actual mass of the atom. The relative mass gives the mass of an atom in relativity to the other atom only. While the atomic mass gives the actual mass of an atom.
