The atomic number of 'C' is 17 therefore electronic configuration of 'C' will be (2,8,7), so its valency is 1.

We know that valency of lead is 2

So by Criss cross method we can find the formula of Pb and C ....which is PbC2

Hope it will help u

Have a gud day!!
