a) elements c is having the highest electro positivity because rather than gaining 7 electrons, donating 1 electron is more convenient and easy. so it will donate its Valence electron and achieve the nearest noble gas configuration. element c will achieve the electronic configuration of helium.
b) element e is the most electronegative because it will gain one electron to achieve its nearest noble gas electronic configuration of neon.
c) metallic character is directly proportional to electropositivity of an element,ie,an element with greater metallic character is more electropositive than another element with less metallic character.
