the atomic numbers of four elements w, x, y and z are 3, 13, 11 and 17 respectively. write their position in periodic table. state giving reason which two elements will show similar properties​

Element w and y belong to s block of periodic table and are placed in the ist group. They actually are Lithium(3)and sodium(11)

Element x and z belong to p block of the periodic table. x is placed in group in group 13 and z is placed in group 17 of the periodic table. They are actually Aluminium (13) and Chlorine(17).

Element w and y would show similar properties because they are placed in the same group and hence share same outer electronic configuration.
