Potassium

number of Proton = 6

Number of electron = 6 (no of proton = No of proton)

no of neutrons =6 (atomic mass = no electrons +no of neutrons )

Answer: Let no. of protons be x

no.of neutrons be x+1

Atomic weight = 39

Protons + Neutrons = 39

x+ x+ 1=39

2x=38

x= 19

Here no.of protons = no.of electrons = 19

no of neutrons = 20
