Supporting tendon for given function is - b) chordae tendineae

Heart is the organ found in our thoracic cavity serving the function of pumping blood to different organs of the body. Valves seperate auricles and ventricles.

Chordae tendineae are string like fibres found in heart which connect papillary muscles with valves. The function done by them is to hold the valves open during flow of blood.

Purkinje fibres generally work to maintain the cardiac rhythm or synchronized contractions.

Epicardium is the outermost layer of heart.

Achilles tendon find their location in foot. It serves function to transmit power from calf muscles to the heel and foot.
