An ideal family would be people who live in total comfort with each other, and couldn’t even imagine life without their family members even if they have to live in a tiny room together. Kids often have more ideal relationships amongst themselves then do adults, especially in a society where egoism is such a high priority. Material wealth also ruins families. They get big houses and each get a separate room and live their own lives, eventually they go different ways and members become closer to other outside people than their own families and this is how the family breaks down due to materalism and egoism basically. That said there are some disadvantages to ideal families, at least for outsiders, because they behave like a clan and separating members may be difficult, this can be a serious issue for people marrying into the family.
