The author of the chapter Fluttering Moths ends the passage by saying: 'It saddened me that even after 60 years of independence so many Indian children were being robbed for their childhood.' Why is their childhood robbed when children go to work?

Answer:

because the children are not getting to live like normal children if they work. They are being forced to work unlike other children who are enjoying their childhood so u say that since the children aren't getting to enjoy and live their childhood like other children their childhood is being robbed.
