QUESTION:-
The author speaks both of people who were very aware of the differences among them and those who try to bridge these differences can you identify such people in the text?
ANSWER:-
- In the story "My Childhood" which is an extract taken from the autobiographical novel "Wings of Fire" written by APJ Abdul Kalam the people who were very aware of the differences between Hindus and Muslims were the new teacher at the Rameswaram Elementary School and the Sivasubramania lyer's wife and science teacher of Abdul Kalam.
- The people who tried to bridge these differences were Lakshmana Satry who was the father of Ramanadha Sastry and Sivasubramania Iyer who was the science teacher of Abdul Kalam. Hence, the author shows that there were both sorts of people, there were those who were familiar with the differences and then there were also those who strived to bridge those differences.
