Step-by-step explanation:

Auto fare for first km:- Rs. 20

Auto fare for subsequent distance:- Rs. 5

Let the distance covered be:- x km

Let the total fare be:- Rs. y

A.T.Q

y= 20+ 5 (x-1)

y= 20+ 5x -5

y= 15+ 5x

Therefore, linear equation for this information is y= 15 + 5x.

Fare for 20 km:-

y= 15 + 5x

y= 15 + (5×20)

y= 15 + 100

y= Rs. 115

Therefore, total fare for 20 km is Rs. 115.
