avg age of a,b and c 3 years ago =(sum of their age 3 years ago)/3 = 33
so, sum of their age 3 years ago =33x3 =99
(a-3)+(b-3)+(c-3)=99
a+b+c=108........(i)

avg age of b and c 7 years ago =(sum of their age 7 years ago)/2 = 35

so, sum of their age 7 years ago =35x2 =70
(b-7)+(c-7)=70
b+c=84..........(ii)

subtracting equation (ii) from equation (i)
a=24

so the present age of a is 24 years.
