The average age of a class is 12. If the age of the piano teacher is also included, the average age goes

up to 13. If the ages of the piano teacher and the geography teacher who is 38 years old are included, the

mean = sum of the ages of 25 stdents / 25

 Here, 12 = sum / 25 

          Sum = 300

    Now teacher's age is added, so

             mean = 300+x / 26

             13*26 = 300+x

             x= 338-300

             x= 38 

 Hence, the age of the teacher is 38
