The average age of boys in class of 30 is 15 years. if 10 more boys join the class , the average of the whole class gets reduced by a year. what is average age of new commers.

The average age of 30 boys is 15
so, ages of all boys will=15*30=450
now,10 boys increased and average decreased by 10
so,40*14=560
Difference between both =560-450=110
Now, for 10 boys 
110/10=11 is the mean of 10 boys
