The average age of Father ,Mother and son is 38 year.5 year before the age of the father is 25% more than the age of mother and the difference between the age of mother and son was 31 year .At present the difference between the ahe of father and son is 41. What is the present age?

avg age= (father+mother+son) /3

38=(f+m+s) /3

(f+m+s) =114

5yr before

so we have to minus 5 from each person

so totally we have to minus 15 from 114

5yr before they total age=114-15=99

(i) f age=125/100 of mother age

(ii) mother - son = 31

son=M -31

(125M/100) +(M) + (M-31) =99

1.25M+M+M-31=99

M=40 (this is 5yr before)

current M age 45

current difference between father and son=41

F+M+S=114

F+S=114-45 =69

F-S=41...... (1)

F+S=69...... (2)

solve this two eqn

get f age=55

s age=14

ans F=55 M=45 S=14
