The average age of our family of four is 35.Excluding me the average age is 40.Find my age ?

the average age of your family of 4 is 35 . x/4=35 , x= 140.

excluding you the average age is 40 . y/3=40, y=120 . Hence your age is x-y =140-120=20 years
