The average daily consumption of rice in a hostel with 140 students is 7 kg . if 15 more students join the hostel , find the consumption of rice .

140 students = 7000g1 student = 7000/140 = 50gnow 140 + 15 = 155 student155 students = 50 x 155 = 7750g = 7.75kg
