The average drift velocity in a wire of length L and area of cross section A is found to be V, when the P.d. across the wire is V. (a) what will be the drift velocity in the same wire if the P.d. across it is V/2, and (b) what will be the drift velocity if the wire is stretched to such a length that its radius becomes half keeping the P.d. equal to V.​
