Expenditure for the whole year =Rs(5×5000+7×5400)

=Rs.25000+Rs.37800=Rs.62800

Income for the whole year =Rs.62800+Rs.2300=Rs.65100

∴ Average monthly income =Rs. 12/65100

=Rs.5425

Answer:

His monthly expenditure is

841 \frac{2}{3}

Step-by-step explanation:

Average expenditure of a man for first 7 months = ₹ 800.

Total expenditure for first 7 months = ₹ 800 × 7 = ₹5600

Average expenditure for next 5 months = ₹900

Total expenditure for next 5 months = ₹ 900 × 5 = ₹4500

Total expenditure for 12 months = ₹(5600+4500) = ₹10, 100

Average Monthly expenditure

 =  \frac{10100}{12}  =  \frac{2525}{3}  = 841 \frac{2}{3}
