The average height of 30 students is 150cm.it was detected later that one value of 165cm was wrongly copied

average height=m=150cm

no of students =n=30

new mean =(m*n+165-135)/n

=(150*30+165-135)/30

=(4500+30)/30

=4530/30

=453/3

=151

therefore

correct mean =151cm
