Answer:

His income for the sixth day is ₹650 .

Step-by-step explanation:

We are given that the average income of a person for the first five days of a week is ₹350 per day.

And if he works for the first six days in a week his average income become ₹400 per day.

Firstly, Average formula = Sum of all values ÷ No. of observations

Average  income for the first five days of a week = ₹350

Sum of all income on 5 days ÷ 5      =  350

So, Total sum of income for five days of week = 350 * 5 = ₹1750

Similarly, Average  income for the first six days of a week = ₹400

Sum of all income on 6 days ÷ 6      =  400

So, Total sum of income for six days of week = 400 * 6 = ₹2400

His income for the sixth day = ₹2400 - ₹1750 = ₹650 .
