let the highest mark be x,
Average =
(sum of observations) / (no. of observations )
sum /10 = 60
sum = 60*10=600
when highest mark is excluded,
(sum - x) / 9 = 59
but sum = 600
600 - x = 531
x = 600-531 = 69
that is highest mark is 69
