let the marks of c be x
as the question says b got twice twice the marks of C and less 8
this means b got 2x-8
as the question says a got 8 more than twice the marks of B therefore
a got 2(2x-8)+8
therefore putting these values in the mean formula
2(2x-8)+8 + 2x-8+x/3=25
by solving this you will get c marks that is 13
from this you can calculate a marks that is 44

chinnari98: how to calculate 2(2x-8)+8+2x-8+x/3=25
sriram77: the 3 is divided by the whole
sriram77: and first open the brackets
sriram77: the 8 will be canceled
sriram77: you will be left with 4x-16+2x+x
sriram77: that is 7x-16=25×3
sriram77: 7x=25×3+16
sriram77: 7x=91
sriram77: x=13

Answer:

let consider the marks of C is X

from the question,

relation between C and B is,

B=2X-8

also, Relation between B and A is,

A=2(2X-8)+8

given average is 25

from the formula,

A+B+C/3=25

2(2X-8)+8+2X-8+X/3=25

from the simplification,we get

7X-16=75

X=13

The marks of A=2(2(13)-8)+8

=44
