Answer:

let the numbers are

2x,2x+2,2x+4,2x+6

so,

(2x+2x+2+2x+4+2x+6)/4=27

8x+12=27×4=108

8x=108-12=96

x=96/8=12

so the numbers are 24,26,28,30

now, 2y is added

(24+26+28+30+2y)/5=28

108+2y=28×5=140

2y=140-108=32

so the number is 32

Answer:

Let 4 consecutive even number are x, x+2, x+4, x+6.

so,

 \frac{x + x + 2 + x + 4 + x + 6}{4}  = 27

4x + 12 = 27 \times 4 = 108

4x = 108 - 12 = 96

x =  \frac{96}{4}  = 24

so numbers are 24,26,28,30.

now let new number is Y

so new average is

 \frac{24 + 26 + 28 + 30 + y}{5}  = 28

108 + y = 28 \times 5 = 140

y = 140 - 108 = 32

so new number is 32. Ans
