ANSWER:

Given that the average of four consecutive even numbers is 27

Let the four consecutive even numbers be x−2,x,x+2,x+4

The average =

4

(x−2)+x+(x+2)+(x+4)

Therefore, 27=

4

4x+4

⟹27=x+1

⟹x=26

The largest number is x+4=26+4=30
