• The average of 5 quantities is 6.

             So total sum = 5 x 6 = 30.

• The average of 3 of there is 4.

             So total sum  = 3 x 4 = 12.

Sum of remaining 2 = 30 - 12 = 18.

• The average of 2 quan. = 18/2 = 9.
