The average of 50 numbers is 28 . If 2 numbers, 25 and 35 are discarded, the average of the remaing numbers is nearly ?

According to the questionAverage of 50 numbers is

= 38Sum of 50 numbers is

= 38 × 50 =

1900Two numbers discarded

= 45 + 55

= 100Sum of 48 numbers

= 1900 - 100

= 1800Average

= 1800/48

= 37.5
