Given:-

Average of 6 numbers = 18

Average of another 6 = 22

Solution:-

If average of 6 number is 18

means,each term is 18

and ,a total of 6×18=108

also

in case 2

if average of 6 number is 22

means,each term is 22

and ,a total of 6×22=132

and including this 12 numbers

which is 108+132=240

We found a total of 240 numbers

But we want average of 12

that is

240÷12=20

therefore average of 12 such numbers=20
