4
average = total sum/number of quantities
8=total sum/6
i.e total sum = 48
similarly, sum of 4 of them is 20
now, sum of remaining two=28
average = 28/2=14

Find the sum of the 6 of them:

Average of the 6 = 8 (Given)

Sum of the 6 = 8 x 6 = 48

Find the sum of the 4 of them:

Average of the 4 = 5 (Given)

Sum of the 4 = 5 x 4 = 20

Find the average of the 2 remaining ones:

Total of the 2 = 48 - 20 = 28

Average of the 2 = 28 ÷ 2 = 14

Answer: The average of the remaining 2 is 14.
