Concept : -

When the numbers are in arithmetic progression and they are odd in number, then the average of the numbers will be the central number of that series.

Solution : -

Since average of the consecutive numbers are given,

( we can say that the numbers are in A.P with common difference, d = 1.)

The central number of the series will be 16.

∴ The smallest number among them is 12
