Step-by-step explanation:

The average of any 5 consecutive odd natural numbers is k . If two more such numbers, just next to the previous 5 numbers are added, the new average becomes?

Let n be the first odd natural number

So the five consecutive odd natural numbers will be n, n+2, n+4, n+6, n+8

Average of these numbers will be addition of all numbers divided by 5 that will be

5n +20/5= n+4

So the average k = n+4

Now next two consecutive odd numbers are added n+10 and n+12

So the new average will be 7n +42/7 = n+6

So new k = n+6

So the value of new average changes by 2
