16
The average is given by →
Sum of observations / Number of observations.

So , Sum of Numbers will be given by →
Average × Number of observations.

The average of Eight numbers is 14.
Then , sum of eight numbers is →

Average × Number of observations
= 14×8
=112

Average of Six numbers is 16.
Then sum of six numbers →

Average× number of observations
= 16×6
=96

Sum of excluded two numbers will be→

Sum of eight numbers - Sum of six numbers

= 112 - 96
= 16

Therefore , if sum of remaining two numbers is 16 , Then their average =

16/2
= 8

Answer→ The average of remaining two numbers is 8
