First 5 multiple of 3 are :

3,6,9,12,15

Their sum = 3 + 6 + 9 + 12 + 15

Sum = 45

Average = sum of observations /no of observations.

Average = 45/5

Average = 9

Hence avg of first five multiples is 9.

So option :A. 9

First five multiples of 3 = 3,6,9,12,15

Now,
average = \frac{sum \: of \: all \: observations}{number \: of \: observations} \\
 = \frac{3 + 6 + 9 + 12 + 15}{5} \\ = \frac{45}{5} \\ = 9

So, Average of five five multiples of 3 is:

Option (A) - 9
