Answer:

Let the numbers be (x+1) (x+3) (x+5) (x+7) (x+9)

Its average is 61 so,

⇒ x+1+x+3+x+5+x+7+x+9/5 =61

⇒ 5x+25/5 =61

⇒ 5x+25 =61 × 5

⇒ 5x+25=305

⇒ 5x=305–25

⇒x=280/5

⇒ x=56

⇒ Lowest number  is x+1 so, 56+1 =57

⇒ Highest number  is x+9 so, 56+9=65

Therefore , 65–57=8

The difference is 8.
