a+b+c+D+e= 5×27= 135
a+b+c+D. = 4×25 = 100
substrate both equation
e = 135 - 100 = 35

Let the numbers be =a,b,c,d,e
so, average=a+b+c+d+e/5=27
a+b+c+d+e=27×5=135
now, one number is removed
so, a+b+c+d/5=25
a+b+c+d=100×5=100
number removed=135-100
=35
