Answer:

Let, the first number be a. So, the consecutive numbers will be a+2, a+4 and a+6.

According to question,

(a + (a+2) + (a+4) + (a+6))/4 = 27

a + (a+2) + (a+4) + (a+6) = 27*4

4*a + 12 = 27*4

4*a + 4*3 = 4*27

4(a+3) = 4*27

a+3 = 27

a = 24

We have to find largest so the answer is a+6 = 24+6 = 30.

In other way, you can see that 27 is the average that means there are 2 even numbers before it and two after it. As the numbers are consecutive so the numbers are 24, 26, 28 and 30.
