Let the four no.s be x-3, x-1, x+1, x+3,
Then,
Sum: x-3+x-1+x+1+x+3 = 4x = 28
> x = 28/4 = 7
So the four nos would be...
7-3, 7-1, 7+1, 7+3
> 4, 6, 8, 10
So this proves that there can be no such four consecutive ODD nos having a sum of 28...
I Think this is correct...

Answer: 31

Step-by-step explanation:

(X + X + 2 + X + 4 + X + 6)/4 = 28

X + X + 2 + X + 4 + X + 6 = 112

4x + 12 = 112

4x = 100

X = 25

X+6 = 31
