The average of 6 number is 30..
total is 60*3=180
then average of first 4 is 25.
total is 25*4=100
and average of last 3 is 35.
total is 35*3=105
So the 4th number is =(100+105)-180=25..

Answer:

25

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

30 is the average among 6 numbers. If the first four have an average of 25, and the final three have an average of 35,

To find:

The fourth number is

Solution:

The average of six numbers is first given as 30. The total of these six numbers will therefore be given as 30×6=180.

The average of the first four numbers, which is now also stated in the question, is 25, hence the total of the first four numbers will be 25×4=100.

Given that the average of the final three numbers is 35, their sum will be 35×3=105. This is the third requirement.

Now, if we add these two amounts together, we will obtain 100+105=205.

Here, it is important to note that the fourth number will be shared by the first four and the final three numbers, leading to its addition twice. In order to find the fourth number, we must deduct the sum of the previous six numbers from the new total.

As a result, when we subtract, we obtain 205-180=25.

As a result, 25 was the fourth number added twice.
